Financial Strategy/Reporting: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the school’s goals and objectives. Create reports for Finance Committee, Board of Directors and Executive Director. -
Budget Management/Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budgets, and work closely with the Executive Director and department heads to ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently. -
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors, highlighting financial performance and projections. -
Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, manage working capital, confirm all money is collected and allocated correctly to ensure the financial stability of the school. -
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. -
Tuition Assistance: Manages tuition assistance program, including including application procedures, award packaging, and tuition assistance decisions -
Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities. -
Audit and Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance. Manage the financial and external audits and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements while managing tax reporting programs and investor-endowment relations activities.
Human Resources:

HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's mission and goals, fostering a positive work environment. -
Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring the acquisition of top talent. Execute letters of hire and contracts. -
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. -
Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs. -
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards and the IRS.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, MBA, CPA or HR certification preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management and human resources leadership, preferable in a school setting.

Strong understanding of financial principles, HR best practices, and employment law.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial software, and HRIS systems.

Proven experience in team leadership and management.

Strategic thinker with the ability to align financial and HR strategies with organizational goals.
