Job Summary:
Compassion Health Care (CHC) provides the highest quality of comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. CHC is a rural Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Caswell County, Yanceyville, Rockingham County, Eden and the surrounding counties. CHC is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator.

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing all functions related to daily HR administration including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, maintaining personnel files, and credentialing and privileging of all clinical staff.

Primary Duties:

  • Performs duties related to recruitment, interviewing, and orienting new staff members to the organization.
  • Maintains a confidential personnel record and/or credentials file for each employee, contractor and volunteer.
  • Manages employee benefit plans by processing enrollments, changes, and terminations and reconciling monthly invoices; facilitates COBRA administration.
  • Develops workflows and performs tasks to ensure compliance with HRSA requirements related to credentialing, appointments, and granting of privileges to clinical staff.
  • Develops relationships with vendors to meet organizational needs pertaining to Human Resources and benefits administration.
  • Works in partnership with other organization leaders to implement projects that accomplish objectives and further the mission of CHC.

Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree from a college or university in the area of business, finance, health care administration, or management; or five years of experience in community health centers, health care, non-profit leadership or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, combined with demonstrated ability to perform the required job duties. Knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations is required. The individual must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate must meet CHC's employment eligibility requirements, including but not limited to, successfully completing pre-employment drug testing and criminal background screening.

Pay: From $49,000.00 per year
